Pictures of my senior formal

The red dress is designed by myself. The bottom ruffles of the dress are inspired by the two purple dresses from the Givenchy Spring Couture 2010 line, and the colour was inspired by Valentino's exhibition of red dresses. This is one of my mother many many creations. my best friend my parents my friends i hope to actually post something about fashion soon! i am still figuring out how to work everything and am having trouble with the upload of picture size :S xoxo

First Post

I know that I probably have no followers at the moment because i only started my blog yesterday, but here goes.

My name is Anna Elshaw and I am an aspiring fashion designer and stylist. I am currently studying grade 12 school studies at an all girls grammar school around Brisbane area. I study all art subjects, which will hopefully lead me to a future in fashion, costume design, musical theatre or drama. When i am not studying i am either practicing singing, designing clothes, searching for new blogs, shopping and making clothes. I come from a large family with two parents, three siblings and a female boxer dog that is literally human. My mother is actually my inspiration for wanting to become a designer/stylist. She is a self-taught dressmaker and can literally make anything i throw at her.

Moving onto my blog; All The World’s a Stage, a quote from William Shakespeare. My reason for blogging is to hopefully get slightly notice for my passion for fashion. My blog is to inspire other fashion lovers to do want they want- do not let anyone tell you what you can and cant do. I desperately want to be a designer but the only studies for this in Queensland, is a course that is immensely hard to get into. I am currently working on my portfolio which I will submit in October -praying to the fashion gods I will be picked .

I will post some photos styled by myself when I get a chance. With my school studies this is quite hard! But mostly will post about fashion news and fashion inspirations. As a girl obsessed with fashion I am also obsessed with fashion magazines such as; Vogue and Harper’s bazaar from any country, RUSSH, V Magazine, oyster and so many more. I may not be able to post everyday but I will firstly try to post 5 times a week! Fingers crossed! I want anyone to comment me with any questions about my posts or about my life in general. I want to know so much about other blogger views on fashion.
